Heritage Stables in Merrickville to host RCMP Musical Ride this summer!
The RCMP Musical Ride is coming to Merrickville on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024. We are thrilled to announce that a portion of the proceeds will go to Rideau Community Health Services, in support of our Food Cupboard Program at our Merrickville site.
The Musical Ride performs in up to 50 communities across Canada each year between the months of May and October. It travels to each province once every 4 years to ensure as many Canadians as possible can experience this spectacle. These performances help raise thousands of dollars for local charities and non-profit groups. You can read all about it by clicking here!
How to get tickets - Tickets are $15 for anyone over the age of four and free for children aged three and under. You can purchase tickets online here or by visiting the Heritage Stables website.
Food Cupboard Program in Merrickville - Providing non-perishable food and household items and emergency food bags to residents in our community who are experiencing food insecurity.
How to Get Services - The Food Cupboard Program is open every Tuesday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Please contact our Community Health Worker Joanne at 613 269-3400 ext. 247 to access the program or for more information.
