Rate: $63,100 - $74,235

Location: Brockville with travel expected within Lanark, Leeds-Grenville areas

Rideau Community Health Services currently has openings for a 0.5 Registered Respiratory Therapist/Certified Respiratory Educator for the Southern Region of the South East LHIN.

The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide assessment, spirometry, education, behavioral management to respiratory clients and their families. The successful candidate will be available to work in the Brockville corridor including Gananoque, Lyn, Seeley’s Bay, Athens and Prescott.

The RCHS Health Program uses a client-centered approach to care, with a focus on the broad determinants of health. Approaches to client care will be evidence based, innovative and utilize current therapeutic techniques and be based on the Health Quality Ontario Quality Standards for COPD and Asthma.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who holds a general certificate of registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario with no limitations

• Certified Respiratory Educator, TEACH-trained preferred

• Self-directed practitioner

• 5 years of working experience, preferably in a hospital and/or community setting

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

• Current CPR certification

• A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
