JOIN OUR BOARD

Board members have a unique opportunity to help shape the health and well-being of our communities. Our Board is committed to a culture of diversity, inclusion and equity.  We invite applications from strategic thinking leaders who reside in the area and are interested in using their expertise to make a difference.

We are a not-for-profit organization recruiting community members to join the dynamic 12-person volunteer Board of Directors of Rideau Community Health Services (RCHS).

We have several locations across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville and provide a wide variety of programs and services including primary care, diabetes education, chiropody, social work, nutrition counselling, telemedicine, lung health, and numerous community health promotion programs in support of the health and wellbeing of our communities.

We are a skills-based Board seeking members who are engaged in the community and inspired to support a healthier community. Board volunteers are needed with experience in the areas of system/ organizational change and quality improvement. Experience with a non-profit board, financial oversight, fundraising or health and social support services would be an asset.

The three Community Health Centres in our area are continuing to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and are working to ensure the health and well-being of our community, clients and staff.

Although most of our staff are working remotely from home, we continue to see our most vulnerable clients in person. We are also accepting appointments and new referrals for our counsellors/social workers, dietitians, and respiratory therapists, among others. Please call us or visit our websites for more information.

We have modified our hours of operation. Before you come to any of our locations, please call us and we will help you determine the best way to meet your needs.
